An evolved version of the lower arm bar. By attaching a steel frame with a three-dimensional truss structure to the body floor, we have achieved the highest level of chassis rigidity for a bolt-on part. The underfloor is solidified with a "surface" to improve the body and suspension performance.
This "member brace set" is an advanced version of the lower arm bar. While the lower arm bar is a "line" that directly connects the left and right pivots, this one is a "plane" that covers a wider area. A three-dimensional truss-shaped high-rigidity steel oval shaft extends under the open floor, centering around the front and rear cross members. By arranging strong gussets at the mounting points that are subject to heavy loads, consideration has been given to preventing input from the road surface from concentrating on one point. As a result, body twisting and distortion are suppressed, and changes in suspension geometry are prevented throughout the underfloor, helping to maintain suspension movement as designed. Regarding the impact on the minimum ground clearance, which is a concern, the lower area increases, but the reduction has been kept to a maximum of about 15 mm.
