■ Precautions during operation
-When performing installation work, be sure to stop the engine, apply the parking brake, and make sure the gear is in neutral.
・This product is compatible with vehicles with a shift lever screw diameter of M10 x 1.25, but even if the shift lever has the same screw diameter, it may not be able to be installed depending on the shape of the shift lever or shift boot.
・The threads may become loose during use due to vibrations from the transmission or the way the shift is operated. If this occurs, apply a small amount of commercially available thread locking agent before installing.
■ Installation procedure
① Remove the original shift knob
Turn the screw and remove the original shift knob.
Install the height adjuster on the shift lever. After tightening it by hand, use a 17mm wrench to tighten it securely so that it does not come loose.
*When adjusting the height, make sure the screws have a engagement margin of 10 mm or more to prevent the shift knob from falling off.
Turn the lock ring to secure the shift knob in place.
Finally, tighten the shift knob around the lock ring (so that the logo is facing forward) to secure it firmly in place.
If the shift knob is low, the stroke will be shorter but the operation will feel heavier, and if it is high, the stroke will be longer but the operation will feel lighter due to the principle of leverage. Adjust the position to suit your preference.
Affix the shift pattern sticker that corresponds to the vehicle in a position where the driver can easily see it.
*If the shift pattern sticker is not attached, the vehicle will not comply with safety standards, so be sure to attach it.
