・To prevent damage to the vehicle, apply masking tape to the outer perimeter of the lights to be removed and to any areas that may be scratched before starting work.
All original parts removed during the work will be reused. Please be careful not to lose them.
• This article describes the procedure for the driver's side only. Please perform the same procedure on the passenger side.
■Items required for installation
・Work gloves or similar (something to protect your hands)
Masking tape
- Clip remover (alternative: flathead screwdriver)
Phillips screwdriver
Ratchet wrench
・10mm deep socket wrench
①Remove the trunk mat.
②Remove the trunk end trim.
Remove the four fasteners securing the trunk end trim using a clip remover. Push in the locking part of the connector connected to the trunk light and pull it out, then remove the trunk end trim by pulling it towards the front of the vehicle.
③ Lift the trunk side trim.
The fasteners that secure the trunk side trim (1Remove the clips using a clip remover.
This is done while lifting the trunk side trim by hand.
*Please be careful not to crease the interior.
④Remove the original rear combination lights.
Use a ratchet wrench to remove the nuts securing the genuine rear combination lights, and a screwdriver to remove the screws.1Remove them one by one.
Disconnect the vehicle-side connector, push the grommet from the inside to the outside of the body, and remove the original rear combination light by pulling it towards the rear of the vehicle.
☆Before installing the LED rear combination lights
The lighting pattern of the LED rear combination lights should be changed before installing the product.
Connect the white wire connector./By separating the indicators, you can choose between sequential and flashing modes.
*The unit is shipped in sequential mode.
*If the left and right taillights are set to different settings, it will not comply with safety standards.
⑤Attach the gasket.
Attach the included gasket to the bolt area on the back of the LED rear combination light.
*Please check that the sticker is evenly applied all around and securely attached. If it is misaligned, reposition it correctly.
⑥Attach the taillight garnish.
*The taillight garnish can be painted to your liking. If you paint it, please allow it to dry completely before attaching it.
Remove the release paper from the taillight garnish.LEDIt attaches to the rear combination lights.
⑦LEDInstall the rear combination lights.
Insert the grommet from the outside of the body to the inside.
Guide on the outside of the bodyLEDAlign the rear combination light socket and insert it.
Tighten the nut with a ratchet wrench and the screw with a screwdriver with moderate force to secure it, then connect the connector to the taillight connector on the vehicle side.
