Sometimes it's time for the racetrack... High-performance sports brake pads designed for extreme limits.
The goal is "deceleration at will," synchronized with the driver's sensibilities. While this direction is the same as our street brake pads, the difference lies in the anticipated driving situations. Aiming for superior controllability in demanding, high-load areas such as continuous S-curves on winding roads and circuits, and full braking from straightaways, we carefully selected and blended the friction materials. A metal material with excellent fade resistance is blended with a carbon material that forms a film on the rotor sliding surface, providing a moderate sliding effect. This achieves a high-level balance between the conflicting performance characteristics of friction force and suppression of rotor wear. The optimal rotor temperature is 50 to 800°C. In particular, it is tuned to provide stable friction force in the 400 to 450°C range, which is frequently used in sports driving. On the other hand, please note that brake dust and noise are on the higher side.
