Parts cleaner
Phillips screwdriver
- A flathead screwdriver or other object with a thin tip
①Disconnect the ventilation hose from the original air hose.
Insert a thin object, such as a flathead screwdriver, into the opening of the ventilation hose to create a gap, spray in some parts cleaner, and then pull it out.
*If parts cleaner gets into the engine, it can lead to malfunction. Please be careful not to spray too much.
② Remove the original air hose.
*When installing the AutoExe intake suction kit, please align the orientation of the hose clamp and the position of the screw with the position of the original air hose.

Loosen the bolts on the hose clamps at both ends as much as possible with a Phillips head screwdriver, and remove the original air hose from the vehicle. The removed hose clamps will be reused. Please be careful not to drop or lose them in the engine compartment.
③ Remove the hose clamp from the original air hose.
The original hose has a positioning protrusion, so remove the hose clamp by crushing it.
④ Install the intake suction kit.
Insert the hose clamp through the intake suction unit in the same orientation as the original hose, and install it so that it faces the same direction as the original hose. (The AutoExe logo will be facing upwards.)
⑤ Attach the ventilation hose.
Align the hose clamp bolt with the original bolt and tighten it with a Phillips screwdriver or similar tool with appropriate force (tightening torque: 2.5-3.4 N·m). Finally, spray parts cleaner onto the ventilation hose and insert it.
