The "lower arm bar" suppresses deformation of the lower suspension pivot (fulcrum). In mass-produced vehicles, the bases of the left and right lower arms, which are the suspension mounting points with an open structure, are connected with a highly rigid steel or aluminum pipe, thereby suppressing unnecessary alignment changes and supporting precise handling. To ensure uniform pressure on the joint surface, gussets (reinforcement plates) are placed on the mounting surface. It ensures the highest level of rigidity for a lower arm bar. The impact on minimum ground clearance is limited to a maximum of about 15 mm, so the impact on practical use is minimal. It is more effective when installed in a two-tiered configuration with a strut tower bar or floor cross bar.
