While maintaining the same shape as mass-produced products, it employs a "micro-low-speed valve" in the internal piston that generates precise damping force from the moment it starts moving. This accurately controls the vehicle's posture changes, achieving a sporty yet flat and high-quality ride. Use in conjunction with lowering springs or genuine springs is recommended.>>Learn more

Achieve precise handling without lowering the ride height. Mass-produced design.

What we emphasize in suspension tuning is not the absolute amount of roll, but the roll speed leading up to it. In other words, the damping characteristics of the dampers that control the process by which roll occurs and progresses are key to achieving handling that feels like one with the car.

Generally, damper damping force is compared based on the piston speed at 0.3 m/s (30 cm of extension/contraction per second), but this is a range that doesn't occur much in everyday driving, such as when driving over large bumps. The unpleasant lurching motion that occurs when entering corners or making S-curve changes is suppressed in the range of much lower piston speeds, below 0.1 m/sec. Our "Sports Damper" employs a "high-precision low-speed valve" in the internal piston that generates precise damping force from the moment the damper starts to move. By rapidly increasing the damping force from the very low-speed range of below 0.05 m/sec, we aim for a characteristic that responds quickly to steering input. On the other hand, we have taken ride comfort into consideration by making the damping force above 0.1 m/sec, which causes jarring, smoother, and keeping the compression damping force low. The basis for setting the damping force is our unique damping ratio (balance between spring constant and damping force) setting, which matches the spring constant of mass-produced springs. We have applied the optimal setting by combining both.
