Tower bars are relatively inexpensive and easy to install, so they are a bit like fashion items, but depending on the concept, they can be designed in a variety of ways. Since we insist that "a high-rigidity body is the key to sure handling," our aim is of course to prioritize functionality.
The basic design that runs through all vehicle models is a complete one-piece structure with an all-steel shaft and bracket welded together. The shaft that connects the left and right towers is a highly rigid oval shape, laid out as linearly as possible. In addition, a cylindrical rib is provided on the bracket that joins the body to provide sufficient strength, and all stud bolts are fastened together to strengthen the unity with the body. Furthermore, twin gussets (reinforcement plates) are placed to equalize the pressure applied to the joint surface with the body. This ensures the highest level of rigidity for a tower bar. Although it is effective enough to install it alone, we recommend total body tuning by combining it with a lower arm bar and floor cross bar, if possible.
