A stabilizer connects the left and right suspensions with a torsion bar, and its spring effect suppresses body roll. While it's standard equipment on many mass-produced cars, there are times when you might want to reduce body roll a bit more, especially when driving through winding roads. This is particularly noticeable when using high-grip tires. Because mass-produced models determine the spring constant based on the grip of the original tires, the more the tires grip the road, the more body roll increases.
That's where our "Sports Stabilizer" comes in. By moderately increasing the pipe diameter and solidifying hollow pipes, we've strengthened the spring constant by about 110-200% compared to mass-produced models. This reduces the amount of roll during cornering that cannot be controlled by coil springs alone, supporting quick and stable handling. Our commitment is to avoid excessive diameter increases that can induce sudden oversteer or understeer, or a decrease in tire grip at the limit. Unlike coil springs, there is almost no spring effect when both wheels move up and down simultaneously during straight-line driving, so it has little impact on ride comfort.
