■Installation Procedure (Oil Level Gauge Grip)

Estimated installation time: 0.2 hours

Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆

Components
- Oil level gauge grip body
·clip
• Pin punch specifically for removing fixing pins

Items required for installation
Protect your hands with work gloves or similar items (Note: The gloves are removed in the video because the small size of the parts would hinder the explanation.)
Plastic hammer
- Substitutes for a vise

Remove the original oil level gauge clip.

Remove the original oil level gauge and thoroughly degrease the oil level saber area.

② Disassemble the level gauge clip and oil level saber.
After the degreasing process is complete, position the level gauge so that there is a gap between the main unit and the ground.
*The instruction manual uses a vise, but you can substitute it with something you have at home. Anything made of a material that won't scratch the cap, such as resin, and with enough space to drop the pin underneath will work. In this example, we used the handle of pliers as a substitute.

Next, use the included pin punch to push out the retaining pin. Keep the removed retaining pin safe, as you will need to reuse it.

By pushing out the pin, it can be disassembled into three parts: the grip, the oil level saber, and the retaining pin.

③ Assemble the oil level gauge.
Insert the included clip into the upper end of the disassembled oil level saber.
Next, push the removed retaining pin back in so that the pin holes overlap.
*The pin can be inserted in two directions. The orientation of the AutoExe logo will change.

Insert it into the oil port, and the job is done.

■Installation Procedure (Brake Fluid Cap)
*Brake fluid is highly corrosive to the body and painted surfaces and is dangerous.
If it comes into contact with anything, please handle it with extreme care, such as washing it off with water.

*A hole in the diaphragm can lead to fluid leakage and is extremely dangerous. Protect the tip of the flathead screwdriver with masking tape or similar before working on it.

② Install the brake fluid cap. .
Install the AutoExe brake fluid cap, with the diaphragm relocated, onto the top of the brake fluid tank.
