The 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Mazda 787B
The 24 Hours of Le Mans (French: 24 Heures du Mans), a four-wheel endurance race held near Le Mans, France, is a round of the World Endurance Championship (WEC) and one of the most historic races in the world, considered one of the three greatest races alongside the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix and the American Indy 500.
In 1991, the Mazda 787B achieved the first overall victory for a Japanese automobile manufacturer. It was the first overall victory for a rotary engine car, and the first for a car without a reciprocating engine, making it a truly remarkable achievement.
"Spark," popular for its high level of accuracy in reproduction.
