This low-down spring tightens the styling to a sporty look and improves handling by lowering the center of gravity. Not too low, not too strong...-twenty fiveBy keeping the increase in spring constant to a minimum, the suspension stroke is ensured even when combined with mass-produced dampers, creating a ride quality with reduced jolts. >>Learn more

Combining style and ride feel.
It's inevitable that mass-produced vehicles designed for an unspecified number of people have a high-riding feel due to considerations such as the installation of tire chains and road clearance. If possible, owners would like to reduce the gap between the tire and fender to make the car appear lower while maintaining ride comfort... Our "low-down springs" are designed for such owners, achieving both style and ride feel.
The key to development is carefully considered settings for the mass-produced dampers that will be paired with the springs. Since the damper specifications cannot be changed, everything is left to the spring design. For example, lowering the vehicle height lowers the center of gravity and improves handling, but lowering it too much increases the distance between the center of gravity and the roll center, increasing the amount of roll. Conversely, lowering the vehicle only slightly results in no noticeable change to the styling. Furthermore, because the vehicle height is lower than that of mass-produced vehicles, the effective stroke of the dampers is reduced, increasing the range of use of the bump stoppers, which function as part of the spring. This is why meticulous settings are required for the combined spring and bump stopper. Not too low, not too stiff... Our specifications, determined through theory and experience, vary by vehicle model, but a base is a 25mm reduction in vehicle height. The spring constant is calculated based on a unique damping ratio (balance between spring constant and damping force) to achieve natural handling without any abruptness.
