The underfloor is hardened with a surface, improving the performance of the body and suspension.
This "member brace set" is an advanced version of the lower arm bar. Whereas the lower arm bar is a "line" that directly connects the left and right pivots, this is more of a "surface" so to speak, covering a wider area. A three-dimensional truss-like high-rigidity steel oval shaft is stretched under the open floor structure, centered around the front and rear cross members. Strong gussets are placed at the mounting points that are subject to heavy loads to prevent input from the road surface from being concentrated at one point. As a result, twisting and distortion of the body is suppressed, and changes in suspension geometry are prevented throughout the entire underfloor area, helping to maintain suspension movement as designed. As for the impact on ground clearance, which is of concern, the low area increases, but the reduction is kept to a maximum of about 15 mm.
