■ Installation procedure (oil level gauge grip)
Estimated installation time: 0.2 hours
Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
Components
・Oil level gauge grip body
·clip
・Pin punch for removing fixed pins
What you need to install
・Hand protection such as work gloves (※Because the parts are small and would interfere with explanation, the gloves are removed in the video.)
・Plastic hammer
・Substitute for a vice
①Remove the genuine oil level gauge clip.
➁ Disassemble the level gauge clip and oil level serrator.
After the degreasing process is completed, position the level gauge so that there is a gap between the body and the ground.
*The instruction manual uses a vice, but you can use something you have at home instead. It should be made of a material that won't scratch the cap, such as plastic, and it should have a gap underneath so that you can drop the pin in. In this procedure, we used the handles of pliers instead.
Next, use the included pin punch to push out the pin. The pin will be reused, so be sure to keep it in a safe place.
By pushing out the pin, it can be disassembled into three parts: the grip, the oil level saber, and the retaining pin.
③ Assemble the oil level gauge.
Insert the included clip into the top end of the disassembled oil level serrator.
Then, push the removed retaining pin back in so that the pin holes line up.
*You can choose the direction to insert the pin. The orientation of the AutoExe logo will change.
Insert it into the oil inlet and the job is done.
■ Installation procedure (brake fluid cap)
*Brake fluid is highly aggressive and dangerous to the body and painted surfaces.
If any of this does get on your skin, please be careful when handling it, such as by rinsing it off with water.

①Remove the genuine brake fluid cap.
Remove the genuine brake fluid cap by rotating it counterclockwise.
*Brake fluid is highly hygroscopic, so be careful not to let rainwater get into it when working outdoors in the rain.
Next, use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the rubber diaphragm and transfer it to the AE brake fluid cap.
*If a hole is made in the diaphragm, it can lead to fluid leakage, which is extremely dangerous. Please protect the tip of the flat-head screwdriver with masking tape or something similar before working.
② Install the brake fluid cap .
The Autoexe brake fluid cap with the diaphragm relocated is installed on the top of the brake fluid tank.
