- Before starting work, apply masking tape around the outside of the lights that you will be removing and around any areas that may be scratched, to avoid scratching the vehicle.
・All genuine parts removed during the work will be reused. Please be careful not to lose them.
・The procedure in this article is for the driver's side only. Please do the same for the passenger side.
■Things required for installation
・Work gloves (hand protection)
・Making tape
・Clip remover (substitute: flathead screwdriver)
・Phillips head screwdriver
・Ratchet wrench
・10mm deep socket wrench
①Remove the trunk mat.
②Remove the trunk end trim.
Remove the four fasteners that secure the trunk end trim using a clip remover. While pressing in the lock part of the connector connected to the trunk room light, pull it out, and remove the trunk end trim towards the front of the vehicle.
③ Lift the trunk side trim.
Fasteners securing the trunk side trim (1Remove the clips (pieces) using a clip remover.
Do this while lifting the trunk side trim body with your hand.
* Be careful not to create creases in the interior.
④Remove the genuine rear combination light.
Use a ratchet wrench to remove the nuts that secure the genuine rear combination light, and a screwdriver to remove the screws.1Remove it piece by piece.
Separate the vehicle side connector, push the grommet from the inside to the outside of the body, and remove the genuine rear combination light while pulling it towards the rear of the vehicle.
☆Before installing the LED rear combination light
The lighting pattern of the LED rear combination lights will be changed before installing the product.
Connect the white wire/By separating them, you can choose between sequential and flashing modes.
*Sequential specification at time of shipment.
*If the left and right taillights are set differently, it will not comply with safety standards.
⑤Attach the packing.
Attach the included gasket to the bolt part behind the LED rear combination light.
*Please check that the sticker is evenly applied all around and that it is firmly attached. If it is not in the correct position, please re-apply it in the correct position.
⑥Attach the tail light garnish.
*The tail light garnish can be painted to your liking. If you choose to paint it, please wait until it is completely dry before applying it.
Peel off the release paper from the taillight garnishLEDAttach to the rear combination light.
⑦LEDInstall the rear combination light.
Pass the grommet through the body from the outside to the inside.
On the guide on the outside of the bodyLEDInsert it in the correct direction so that it fits into the rear combination light socket.
Tighten the nut with a ratchet wrench and the screw with a screwdriver with appropriate force to secure the connector in place, then connect the connector to the tail light connector on the vehicle.
