The Optima Battery is an AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) type battery that uses a unique spiral cell technology in which glass fiber containing electrolyte and two thin electrodes are densely wound in a spiral shape instead of the electrodes used in general batteries. Since it is a completely sealed type, there is no need to refill the battery fluid, and it is a maintenance-free battery that boasts a longer life than conventional open types.
