By joining the left and right strut towers, body rigidity is increased. The steel oval shaft, which is advantageous in terms of rigidity, and one-piece construction ensure the highest level of strength for a two-point system. Although it is effective when installed alone, it is best to use it in conjunction with a floor crossbar or lower arm bar that is set at the same time. >>Learn more
---------------------------
High rigidity is given priority, steel is used instead of aluminum, and 1 piece instead of 2 pieces.
The tower bar has the feel of a fashion item because it is relatively inexpensive and easy to install, but it can be designed in a variety of ways depending on the concept. Since we claim that ``a highly rigid body creates reliable handling,'' our objective is of course to prioritize functionality.
The basic design that runs through all vehicle models is a complete one-piece structure with an all-steel shaft and welded bracket. The shaft connecting the left and right towers has a highly rigid oval shape and is laid out as straight as possible. In addition, the bracket that connects to the body is provided with cylindrical ribs to provide sufficient strength, and all stud bolts are tightened together to strengthen its integrity with the body. Furthermore, twin gussets (reinforcing plates) are placed to equalize the pressure applied to the joint surface with the body. This ensures the highest level of rigidity for a tower bar. You can get sufficient effects by installing it alone, but if possible, we recommend total body tuning that combines things like a lower arm bar and floor cross bar.
